What was announced
Uzbekistan’s investment ministry announced selection for the Ready Partner programme on 21 September. It targets established businesses seeking foreign investment or technology and manufacturers or exporters looking for buyers, distributors and other partners. The notice excludes startups and proposals still at the idea stage.
Selection considers a specific project, infrastructure readiness, target market, the local partner’s contribution and proposed cooperation terms. The ministry describes project preparation and targeted B2B meetings for selected businesses. Its notice says the application link is valid until 20 October. Applicants should confirm current conditions through the official portal.
CAPPA analysis: why it matters
For an eligible business, preparation should begin with a decision-ready proposal: what is being expanded, how much support is sought, what the sponsor contributes and why a specific partner would benefit. A general request for investment gives a prospective counterparty little to evaluate. CAPPA’s practical role can be to make the commercial brief clearer and coordinate agreed discussions. Programme selection and any eventual investment decision remain with the responsible institutions and counterparties.
Questions before the next commitment
- Can the business document operating experience, its present capacity and the specific expansion or export opportunity?
- What capital, technology or market access is required, and what contribution and cooperation terms can the local sponsor offer?
- Which evidence supports demand, infrastructure readiness and the financial assumptions in the proposal?
A practical next step
Check the official programme notice and application portal linked below. CAPPA can discuss preparing a non-confidential business brief under a separate agreed engagement; CAPPA does not administer the programme or guarantee selection, introductions or finance.
