A single accountable partner on the ground from mandate through construction and commercial operation.
How a PPA project moves in Uzbekistan
Click any step. We manage every approval and agreement on your behalf.
NDA & mandate
We sign an NDA, align the opportunity with the national program and sign an agency mandate with the investor.
The agreements that secure your project
A bankable structure backed by sovereign support. After the 2025 reform, electricity purchase (Uzenergosotish) and transmission (NEGU, via a TCA) are contracted separately; large projects sign a package: IA + PPA + GSA + TCA.
Non-Disclosure Agreement
Signed before any project data is shared — protects both parties’ information. Every engagement starts here.
Investment Agreement
Between the Government (Ministry of Investment, Industry & Trade) and the foreign investor. Locks in guarantees, tax incentives, investment volume (e.g. building solar/wind of hundreds of MW), land allocation and return-of-investment terms.
Power Purchase Agreement
25-year offtake of the full output at a fixed tariff in foreign currency. After the 2025 reform it is signed with the offtaker, Uzenergosotish.
Government Support Agreement
Sovereign support from the Ministry of Economy & Finance — liquidity and termination payments backing the offtaker’s obligations.
Transmission Connection Agreement
Grid connection and transmission services with the National Electric Grid (NEGU). Contracted separately from the PPA after the 2025 reform.
Public-Private Partnership
PPP structures (concession, BOOT, etc.) — the main route for most renewable tenders, with the strongest packaged government support.
EPC & EPCM Contracts
The core contracts for design, equipment procurement and construction of the power plant (Engineering, Procurement, Construction / Management).
Battery Storage Service Agreement
A separate storage-services (BESS) agreement: accumulate surplus green energy at peak generation and release it back to the grid.
Electricity Supply Contracts
Retail offtake contracts between regional distribution companies (e.g. JSC “Regional Electric Networks”) and consumers or industrial enterprises.
Legal framework
Projects are delivered strictly within Uzbekistan’s renewable-energy legislation. Foundational acts:
