Start with a clear investment brief
CAPPA supports investment project discussions in Uzbekistan across energy, minerals, infrastructure and industry. The first useful step is to define the decision, the local work required and the evidence needed to move forward.
What to include in your first brief
- Your organisation and your role: investor, project owner, operator or technical partner.
- The sector, location and current project stage.
- The decision you need to make and the local support you need.
- Your indicative investment range, timing and principal constraints, if shareable.
- Public documents or a non-confidential summary.
Agree the work before starting
Depending on the project, a mandate may cover local coordination, a review of available project information, counterparty discussions or the preparation of an agreed opportunity brief. The scope, responsibilities, deliverables, timing and commercial terms are agreed individually. A conversation or an introduction does not guarantee financing, approvals or a transaction.
Separate an opportunity from a verified project
A project description is a starting point. Ownership, land rights, permits, technical assumptions, commercial contracts and financing requirements need project-specific review by the relevant specialists. Record what is documented, what is reported by a counterparty, and what remains to be checked before relying on an investment case.
Explore by sector and region
Use the linked guides and regional portfolio pages below to frame your enquiry. Share the exact project or topic that interests you so the first discussion can address a concrete next step.
